At The Gates released 4 highly successful & influential studio albums before the band broke up in 1996 - with members featuring in acts such as Cradle of Filth & The Haunted - before later reforming in 2007 for some successful reunion shows which resulted in multiple comeback albums, until the recent passing of one of the pillars of the scene, Tomas Lindberg.
Born from the ashes of the band 'Grotesque', the style of the band evolved into technical brutality of the highest order.
After extensive early touring, it wasn't long before UK underground label Peaceville Records offered them a deal.
